Received email from FinnHEMS advising of the following improvements they would like to see to the Timesheet functionality.
Timesheet sign-off before the end of month. To recap - when out personnel are off from duty during a month shift, they are not able to check their monthly timesheet entries and sign-off the previous month. This causes delays in our pay roll or we need to pull people from their leave to check the previous month. A proposed and discussed solution would be for personnel to have the ability to sign-off and confirm dates even before the end of month in a case where the rest of the month is rostered as non-duty shifts (off, holiday etc.).
Timehseet report does not show Sunday / Saturday / bank holidays hours on the correct date. In the report, the hours for weekend etc. hours are shown split between the day the day the shift started and the day the shift ended. This causes confusion and in worst case, some hours might end up on the wrong month if the last day of the month is a weekend. See example below. As discussed, we need the hours for e.g. Sunday to show completely on the row for sunday
Timesheet sign-off confirmed by responsible personnel. To be fully compliant with the local laws regarding payroll reports, we need to have supervisors check and confirm timesheets before they are delivered for payroll. This process requires a signature for confirming that the supervisor in question has checked and confirmed that all hours entered by an employee are valid. Currently we do it in a manual way, where a supervisors prints out a signed-off timesheet, signs it, scans it and sends it to payroll. A much more efficient way would be to have the ability to complete the process completely electronically in AirMaestro. For that, we would need a function where after the employee has signed-off a timesheet, that same timesheet could be yet again signed-off by the supervisor. In the report that would generate two time-stamps - one which shows the sign-off date and time done by the employee and another that shows the sign-off time and date from the supervisor.
I have asked for timesheet sign off for the "Svensk Luftambulans" (Swedish HEMS operator) as well years ago. Nothing has happend yet.
