Option to disable requirement for users to acknowledge alerts that were acknowledged on previously login

Many users log in to Air Maestro multiple times a day. Every time they log in they are required to acknowledge the SAME alerts as previously acknowledged earlier in the day.

Would it be possible to add an option that allows Administrators to disable the requirement for users to acknowledge alerts that were previously acknowledged in a 12/24 hour period?
