Recency Scheduling - Notification to users other than trainer and trainee

The Recency Scheduling function currently does not notify users other than the trainer and trainee when a Recency check is scheduled.

Would it be possible to enable the ability to notify ad-hoc and/or pre-defined users (e.g. Department Officers, Recency Contacts, etc.) when a recency check is scheduled?
