Login requirements for response to Tier One/Two SOS alert

We received an SOS from a "malfunction" button press. The pilot was unaware of the alert. In responding to an SOS surely is not necessary for the responder to have to go through the login and password routine. Valuable time is wasted on trying to recall and then enter these details.
