Add functionality in the Flight Vector Crew App to allow users (EMS, fire, police, etc.) to view call-related documents—such as pre-plans, building layouts, or reference files. This could be linked directly to an address, call type, or facility, so crews can quickly access the right file en route or on scene.
Example Use Case:
A crew responds to a hospital they’re not familiar with. Instead of radioing dispatch for directions or searching on a separate device, they tap the address in the Crew App and immediately see the floor plan, entrance instructions, or special notes.
How It Helps the End User:
Improves situational awareness before arriving on scene
Reduces reliance on verbal relays from dispatch
Helps new crew members or covering units navigate unfamiliar sites
Critical for large or complex buildings (e.g., schools, malls, hospitals)
Could reduce on-scene delays and improve safety
This enhancement modernizes the Crew App by turning it into a field-ready information tool, not just a dispatch viewer—supporting smarter, faster, and safer responses.
