Multi-day tasks (Flight Records, Timesheets and Schedules )

The Situation:

Multi-day tasks that must be consolidated into a single flight record entry for billing purposes. While this approach works seamlessly for invoicing, we've encountered a significant discrepancy that's causing considerable concern during regulatory audits.

The Core Issue:

When we update flight records spanning multiple days (for example, the 9th and 10th), the system accurately calculates the Total Block Time across all sectors within the Flight Details—this functionality works flawlessly. However, a troublesome inconsistency emerges in the Timesheet entries: the entire Total Block Time appears exclusively on the first day (the 9th), leaving the subsequent day (the 10th) completely blank.

The Challenge:

This discrepancy creates a substantial compliance risk during authority audits, as the timesheet data doesn't accurately reflect the actual flight operations across the respective days. The authorities expect to see block time distributed according to when flights actually occurred, not consolidated into a single day entry.

Our Request:

A viable solution or workaround that would allow the system to intelligently allocate block time to the appropriate days in the Timesheets. Specifically, we need the 9th's block time to appear only on the 9th, and the 10th's block time to appear only on the 10th.
