Link to Repository improvement request

It would be useful to be able to link my documents directly to an external repository for each recency item and not as a singular link as is currently available for which an additional document upload may be required.

As a user, I would like the ability to:

• Navigate to the Recency Item and in the Documentation type drop-down list, select Link to Repository and then click on OK without being prompted to first link an item.

• I would then go to My Recency/Company Recency/ Aircraft Recency page and update a recency item.

• When selecting Add Recency and want to see an area where I can input the specific repository link for this particular recency item. (Image: Link to Repository Field only)

• After I add the recency-specific link I will then select OK to update

If I wish to view the recency item after loading/updating my recency item:

• I want to go to the recency item in question and select the Magnifying glass. Under my recency items there will be a file in the second last column indicating that there is an attachment.

• When selecting the folder, I want to see a pop-up window/new browser tab opening the external source as per the link.
