Hidden child recency items should not update parent items

Currently, if a child item is set to monitor on type recency any of the child items will update the parent item if selected. However, certain clients would like the ability to have only certain aircraft types update the parent item.

An example below shows the first screenshot is the front-end layout and recency item with aircraft type to be monitored (EC35), however after conducting a test and updating a child item (aircraft type EC45) that is hidden, the child item updated the parent last conducted date (Day - Glass).

It would be helpful to set Hidden items to prevent them from updating parent items.
