Air Maestro does not currently support access for third-parties (i.e. personnel not registered as users of an organisation's Air Maestro account). Granted, access for third-parties can be facilitated by creating a unique user profile for general/public login (with limited access permissions), but this is very clumsy.
Third-party access would be useful in the following instances:
After auditing an external supplier, to provide access to the audit, finding(s) and action(s), so that the supplier can view and sign-off the report, and respond to the action(s).
To solicit feedback (complaints, compliments, safety concerns, etc.) from the customers, passengers, etc., by providing access to the Safety Reporting module via a simple U/I (e.g. a form with a few fields and a submit button).
Please see the following user stories:
As an Auditor or Quality Manager, I want the ability to email a link to a third-party which will allow said party to access a specific audit and associated actions. The third-party should not be able to access anything other that the audit and actions.
As a Safety Manager or Safety Report Champion, I want the ability to cause Air Maestro to generate a QR code that, when snapped, directs third-parties and registered users to an online form through which they can submit a safety report.
I would like to print the QR codes and display them in strategic locations on my organisation's premises, on our aircraft, in our brochures/in-flight magazines, on our website, etc.
Users and/or third-parties accessing my organisation's Air Maestro domain via this method should not gain access to anything other that the report form.
Ideally, when I receive the report via this medium, I should be able to incorporate it into a more detailed report by re-classifying the report type.
If the report form captures the email addresses of third-party reporters, I want the ability to provide feedback to said reporters from within the Safety Reporting module of Air Maestro.
This would greatly benefit our organisation!
