Currently Air Maestro has only one default TTIS counter (Site Settings >> Aircraft >> Aircraft Maintenance Setup) that is referenced in order to update aircraft TTIS from the Flight Records module.
Additionally, the only time format applied to the TTIS field is numeric hours with decimals (e.g. 1209.6 hrs).
This presents 2 problems:
Not all customers record airframe time (TTIS) in the numeric hours with decimals format. Some use hours and minutes (e.g. 1209 hrs, 36 mins).
Not all aircraft record airframe time (TTIS) in the numeric hours with decimals format. As with point 1 above, some use hours and minutes (e.g. 1209 hrs, 36 mins). This is a problem for customers who operate a fleet with different aircraft types, that have different requirements as regards TTIS time formats.
Would it be possible to upgrade the Aircraft Maintenance Setup as follows:
Provide an option to use different time formats to update TTIS.
Allow different time formate to be set for different aircraft types. (I.e. hours and minutes for one type and numeric hours for another).
This implies that the Aircraft Maintenance Setup would have to change so as to accommodate a different Counter Type and a different Flight Records Custom Field for different aircraft type codes.
