Have an option to "SUBMIT" a Flight Report in real time.

Currently for our Daily Flight Reports (under flight records), we have them being sent automatically at 2AM. I was wondering if there is a way to take out the automatic email and have there be a submit button. By doing it this way, once the report is complete, the pilot can submit the report and it would be sent out right away via emails. This would be helpful for the admin staff to have this information as soon as possible. Also, there have been times when the pilots have a very long day and won't fill the report out until the next morning when they are back on shift. If they don't fill it out until the next day, that would mean the report won't get sent out that day, making the report "late" to the admin staff. The SUBMIT button would be very useful.

    Excellent idea from Dylan - having the reports submitted in real time would be extremely beneficial for everyone, Admin Team, Technical Records Team, Payroll etc..

    To add to this and give more insight…

    We currently have 24/7 flight operations going on with our aerial fire crews. 0600-1800 is the first shift and 1800-600 is the second shift.

    Example: It’s June 5th and the first shift is done for the day and fills out their flight report which will send out at the end of the business day automatically (June 6th 0200 PST). Second shift comes in works through the night and finishes their shift at 0600 and proceeds to fill out the report which is for the business day of June 5th… but it doesn’t get sent out via email because that business day has already been automated. Admin gets into work June 6th expecting both reports be in by 0800, but they are missing the report for the night crew. This delays admin staff.
