Currently a Discretion Report is required to be lodged if a crew member's recency has an item expired as well as when FTL has been exceeded.
Discretion Reports are by nature purely for reporting of Flight Time exceedances and have to be reported to the authority. Having both expired recency items and FTL exceedance to be reported as Discretion adds unnecessary admin for processing of what constitutes discretion for onward processing.
Can the Discretion Report Lodging be set for just FTL exceedance reporting and recency items monitored separately in order to improves the processing of reports that need to be actioned for FTL monitoring.
