Add a comment to an individual's recency item that displays on the recency page and in a report

Occasionally and individual may have a recency item expire for a reason, would be great to have the ability to  add a comment that is visible on the recency page (without opening the recency item) and that also is visible when a report is run on that recency item. This would allow at a quick glance to see why the item is expired.
