Forms Register Filters - Keep Filter Settings Until Filters Reset

Presently every time you add filters to the forms register and then go back to the register, the system drops the settings and reverts to the default settings (added due to load times with large volume of forms in register). This is particularly frustrating when trying to work on forms which are filtered for reporting purposes. Can we not have the filters keep the settings we select until the clear filters button is selected to avoid having to re-enter them every time we go back to the register?
