Today I sat with Flight Operations Controllers who expressed the desire to create handovers and notes in Air Maestro.
Would it be possible to use the current calendar on the home page to allow users to insert Notes/Appointments like you would in MS outlook, with the ability to share this Note/Appointment with an other user?
The idea is that a title of the note will appear on a specific day in the calendar, and when you click on the item a pop up window will show you the content, similar to that of Company News?

Thank you Greg for this suggestion. It is a bit more steps, but I suppose this will do the job. I will explore further. We are not using the scheduling module, so never thought to look at this.
Hi Renate. You could create a task type called Handover Notes and then use the scheduler to create the task and assign it to the user that you want to hand it to. It will then show up on the calendar on the homepage and it will show the description entered in the task when they click on it.
There are also a couple of new enhancements to the scheduler in the recent 3.3 release that can streamline this process including creating the task from a right-click context menu and auto-assigning of the task resource.
