Please consider some development to the system giving the ability to schedule meetings, add minutes directly (as opposed to uploading) and assign actions from those meetings. For example Safety action meetings, liaison meetings.

Meetings should be a four step process:
Set Agenda
Record minutes and create actions
Optional feedback forum
Sign offs
Having the ability to route minutes as one can route safety reports would be helpful (Step 3 has proved to be useful when meeting minutes are recorded using the safety reporting module and sent to management). To this end, it may be helpful to have meeting type roles such as is present in the reporting module.
Setting the agenda should be done on the fly or using a template. It would be helpful to use the same builder for both in case templates require an ad-hoc change.
Each agenda item requires a text box to record the discussion and a button to add an action to it. These action items should be cross referenced as findings and actions are cross referenced in audit checklists.
We hold meetings such as AOC Management Meetings, Base Safety Meetings, Management Review Board meetings (CAA requirement).
Each have their own set agenda, require minutes to be recorded and a way of tracking actions / follow up assigned to the various participants.
We initially used the audit ,odule to manage our ACO Management Meetings so that we could track actions and follow up. We then used the Safety module to manage Base Meeting Minutes and assocaited follow up / actions.
A dedicated Meetings Module would be a great idea instead of trying to peg this functionality into one of the other modules.
Raised on behalf of Miles Swanepoel from Xcalibur. They are requesting the creation of a meetings module that will allow them to create meetings and have actions link to those meetings.
