The addition of simple light (white with black outline) and simple dark (dark grey with white outline) Map Views would help readability significantly. Similar to the Simple light and simple dark base maps on aviationweather.gov. image attached.
Cascade N-numbers on the map when multiple aircraft are near each other.
When multiple aircraft are near each other on the map, the user has to zoom way in to see all the aircraft by tail number. I would be very helpful if the tail number tag cascaded instead of stacking. This would allow the user to keep a large view ...
Direction markers, such as barbs, should be on each aircraft track. This provides situational awareness of the direction of flight when viewing assets on the map.
It would be nice if you could search for airports by name and/or identifier when tracking a flight. That way you could see the progress towards the destination airport, and identify if the flight is proceeding on course, or not.
